Known for leading bands like Flamingo Tours, Magnolia, and The Rhythm Treasures, and for her duet with the late Amadeu Casas, Swanson skillfully recreates with her own personality and overwhelming mastery of the scene, the style of singers such as Etta James, Bessie Smith, Ruth Brown, and many others.
