The singer and composer Dora Morenbaum is one of the most incredible voices of the new wave of Brazilian music. Morenbaum is a member of the quartet Bala Desejo, winner of a Latin Grammy and a leading figure in contemporary Brazilian music that reaches everywhere. Embedded in the tradition of MPB (Música Popular Brasileira), Morenbaum has her own style with influences from Joyce, Gal Costa, and Maria Bethânia. Her music has captivated creators like Ana Fango Eléctrico, a star of the Rio de Janeiro scene and producer of Dora Morenbaum’s latest album: ‘Vento de Beirada’ (2023).
