The trio, based in the city of Barcelona, interprets original compositions and classic jazz standards with their own arrangements and a very personal touch, full of energy, swing, and blues spirit.
Formed in early 2023, the group performs regularly on the jazz stages of Barcelona. In these concerts, the audience can listen to traditional songs from the jazz repertoire as well as original music from the two full-length albums released by Lucas Herrera Fernández, “Puerto Itinerante” (2022) and “Un punto azul pálido” (2015). Currently, they are presenting the recently released EP ‘Blues para un Rojo.’
The trio’s main influences include the Emmet Cohen Trio, intriguing us with their modern take on the tradition of jazz music, and the Ray Brown Trio, from which we draw inspiration for its energetic spirit full of swing and blues.
