Jeb Patton - Jamboree Jazz

Jeb Patton piano, Santi de la Rubia tenor sax, Ignasi González double bass, Roger Gutiérrez drums.

Jeb Patton (Kensington, USA, 1974) is one of the most brilliant pianists faithful to the glorious tradition of jazz piano. A follower of the great Roland Hanna, his style draws directly from bop roots with essential references such as Tommy Flanagan and Horace Silver. In Patton’s hands, the legacy of Charlie Parker, but also those of Duke Ellington and Jimmy Heath, take on a lively, modern reading. A resident of New York since 1996, Patton has worked for George Coleman, Frank Wess, Jimmy Heath, James Moody, Antonio Hart and Roberta Gambarini, among others. Mention should also be made of his work for over 20 years with the Heath Brothers.
