An emerging figure in jazz comes to the Mas i Mas Festival. Anggie Obin began studying music at the age of 12. She graduated in classical flute from the National Conservatory of Music in Panama, and, in 2012, obtained a scholarship to complete her training at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston. She has performed with well-known artists, such as the acclaimed multiple Grammy winner Rubén Blades and her fellow Panamanian Danilo Pérez. Obin has also worked with modern musicians of the calibre of George Garzone, Kirk Lightsey, Santi Debriano, Peter Erskine and Bill McHenry, and, in Catalonia, with groups like Las de Barcelona.
