Despite her youth, the saxophonist and composer Cristina Miguel Martínez already has an excellent track record, having led several line-ups including the octet Ramé Project and the duo Cristina Miguel & Marcel·lí Bayer. She has also worked on other projects: Valparaíso ClasiJazz Big Band (2022), Möbius Strip (2020) and the International Female Musicians Collective (2019). At the Jamboree, she will present a quartet of excellent musicians from the Barcelona and Mallorca jazz scenes – a group of artists with great sensitivity: David Mengual, Oriol Roca and Toni Vaquer. Together, they will perform a selection of tunes written by each of the quartet’s four members.
