Together and separately, Bil McHenry, Ethan Iverson, Jorge Rossy and Masa Kamaguchi constitute the icing on the cake of one of the most excellent generations of contemporary jazz. From its beginnings to, in some cases, recent times, its work has been widely documented by the Barcelona label Fresh Sound New Talent, which celebrates its thirtieth anniversary this year. They also treasure a glorious career in the basement of the Plaza Reial: they have descended the stairs of this club a lot of times, since they were young brides until their consecration as celebrities on the international scene. However, in the case of Ethan Iverson it is a return to the cave after a long time since his last performance in the Jamboree. Room 3 of the Jamboree has the honor of bringing together four totems of today’s jazz in a unique, magical evening, in which they will perform a varied repertoire with well-known themes and their own compositions.
