The Concept is a small format professional company founded on September 24, 2017 and currently based in Barcelona, Spain. It is the only company of its kind that has been created in Cuba so far, it handles a different aesthetic of movement, which is based on the fusion of contemporary dance and urban dances without leaving behind the roots of Cuban culture. It is made up of four dancers from different formations, and seeks to exploit the variety of movement qualities that each one possesses, while seeking to unify them in an identity concept, a unique tool in defending a distinctive physicality.
