A chance event brought together two great jazz personalities in Granada: the Málaga singer Pepa Nieba and the Barcelona pianist Ignasi Terraza. From then on, they united their respective languages to forge a sonic encounter, an amalgam of intercultural, intergenerational emotions, driven by a common search for beauty and elegance. The result is a timeless, diverse repertoire, linked to the album ‘En la orilla del mundo’ (Swit Records, 2023). From coast to coast, from sea to sea, from south to north, Pepa Niebla and Ignasi Terraza interpret a series of pieces by authors such as Martín Rojas, Michel Legrand, Tom Jobim, Ariel Ramírez, Nat King Cole, Dave Brubeck and Juan Quintero, among others.
