Established in 1960, Jamboree holds a unique and privileged position in the heart of Barcelona at the iconic Plaça Reial. Renowned for its rich history and distinctive architecture, Jamboree has been a cultural hub for more than six decades.
We have 3 rooms meticulously equipped with quality stages, professional sound, lighting and video systems. In addition, we put at your disposal a technical rider and full backline, ensuring that you have everything you need to create unforgettable experiences.

More than six decades of history endorse the trajectory of one of the oldest jazz clubs in Europe. Opened in 1960, it has hosted figures of the caliber of Chet Baker, Dexter Gordon, Tete Montoliu, Brad Mehldau, and a multitude of national and international stars, many of whom took their first steps at Jamboree. Not surprisingly, it is one of the most emblematic spaces in Plaça Reial and, by extension, in the center of Barcelona. In 2010, it was awarded the Gold Medal by the City Council.
Cozy and cave-like, reminiscent of the most traditional jazz clubs, this basement remains a reference for live music in the city. Its programming includes the finest offerings of jazz, blues, soul, R&B, and more recently, urban music. Additionally, it stands as one of the most sought-after dance floors for enthusiasts of African-American music, featuring the city’s top DJs.

Since 2019, the Tarantos tablao, the oldest in Barcelona — founded in 1963 — has also become Jamboree – Room 2, a venue that hosts Latin music and related genres from both local and international scenes. In fact, it stands as a cornerstone of Latin culture in the city. As for Tarantos itself, it ensures visitors from around the world a high-quality flamenco show featuring the best artists of the moment.
Situated at ground level, it preserves the decoration, warmth, and scenic structure of the grand tablaos. Simultaneously, it is well-equipped to transform into a vibrant dance floor.

It is the youngest among Mas i Mas venues, inaugurated in 2022 at number 18 on Plaça Reial, occupying the same space as the former Herbolari Farran. With just over a year of existence, it has already become a regular spot for hosting a wide range of events: concerts spanning diverse genres such as jazz, Latin, soul, song, etc., jam sessions, parties, and notably, a significant addition to the Mas i Mas trajectory – conferences, courses, presentations, talks, and exhibitions.
Featuring an L-shaped room, easily isolatable from the bar area, it houses a giant screen that spans the entire backdrop of the stage. Regarding the stage itself, it is positioned on one side of the room, offering a privileged view from every corner of the space. Jamboree 3 boasts the highest seating capacity in terms of chairs among Mas i Mas venues and stands out as one of its most versatile spaces.
