The pursuit of freedom, the energy of the moment, and precision in performance are the constituent elements of the quartet led by Basilea saxophonist Lennard Fiehn; a balance between future, present, and past. The material of this group is inspired by literature and contemporary art and is characterized by a revisiting of the work of great jazz musicians from the American tradition, and by the impulse to find their own voice. At the Jamboree, Lennard Fiehn, on tenor sax, will perform with three prominent musicians from the national and international scene: Òscar Latorre on trumpet, Snejana Prodanova on double bass, and Jordi Pallarès on drums.
