“Life Dissonance” is a contemporary jazz quintet created and based in Basel (Switzerland), led by trumpeter Álvaro Ocón. The group consists of young, prominent musicians in the European jazz scene, performing original compositions influenced by various mentors they have had the pleasure of working with, such as Ambrose Akinmusire, Guillermo Klein, Kris Davis, and Vardan Ovsepian, among others. Without filters, they depict life and its traveling companions, along with all its dissonances. This tour showcases their latest album, recorded between 2023 and 2024 in Basel.
