Trumpeter and singer Andrea Motis has been playing with guitarist Josep Traver since the beginning of her career, when she was just 13 years old. “The magic between us is very hard to replicate with other people because he is the guitarist I have played with the most, and for years we have listened to each other almost every day,” explains the Sant Andreu artist.

Motis highlights that what she loves most about Traver is his subtlety and eclectic background, the result of many years of professional experience. Their duo repertoire has a clear jazz core, but they are especially drawn to songs, allowing them to explore various genres, from country and blues to singer-songwriter music and the rich Brazilian legacy.
