CICLO BACÁN 2025: Marineros in Barcelona

The Chilean dreampop music project debuts in Spain.

Marineros, the duo formed by Soledad Puentes and Cer, arrives in Spain. From their first singles “Espero”, “Oh oh”, and “Cae la noche”, they managed to position themselves in the local independent music scene, consolidating their distinctive sound. With their next romantic hit “El lado oscuro de tu corazón” and the release of their debut album O Marineros, the band embarked on a series of international tours and concerts, starting in Mexico and expanding across the United States.

Throughout their career, Marineros has participated in major international festivals such as Lollapalooza Chile, SXSW (Austin, USA), Festival Epicentro (Costa Rica), Festival Ceremonia and Marvin (Mexico), Ruido Fest (Chicago), Viva! Pomona (California, USA), 30 Days in LA (Los Angeles, USA), Freak Out Fest (Seattle), and recently performed a live session for the iconic radio station KEXP.

Over the past year, the duo released their long-awaited new album Al calor de un sol que acaba de morir, available on 12” vinyl. Praised for its maturity and sonic evolution, this is the album they will present in their Barcelona concert.

This concert is part of the BaCáN 2025 Cycle and is sponsored by the Embassy of Chile in Spain and the Division of Cultures, Arts, Heritage, and Public Diplomacy (DIRAC) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Chile.
