Júlia Millet: Stories Through the Voice
Júlia Millet vocals · Albert Illa guitar
Always hidden behind a computer or a camera, creating for other artists… This time, Júlia Millet steps in front of the microphone to bring out the sweetness and depth of her voice, sharing her most intimate stories through songs. Music has been part of her life since childhood, and she enjoyed long car trips listening to her parents’ records, such as Bryan Adams, Norah Jones, Van Morrison, among many others.
In 2020, thanks to the pandemic, she began writing songs, and in July 2021 she released her first single, “Salir Sin Más”, recorded at Blind Records and produced by Gerard Giner. In January 2022 she released her second single, “Middle of Nowhere”, also recorded and produced at Blind Records. In June 2023 she released the five-track EP “Inside My Head”. In 2024 she was a semifinalist in a songwriting contest at Ophirua Studio, where she recorded “Tornar a començar”. In 2025 she recorded her latest single, “Quiero que sepas”.
Júlia enjoys creating songs that connect with people, conveying something genuine. She draws inspiration from the sea, movement, and everyday moments that hide something beautiful or nostalgic. She doesn’t just aim to write songs, but to build small atmospheres where listeners can feel part of the stories she tells.
