In recent years, Wax & Boogie has become one of the most highly regarded groups in the fields of blues, rhythm-and-blues, and boogie-woogie on both a national and international scale. Ster Wax and David Giorcelli have skillfully captured the true spirit of traditional African-American music, transforming it into their own means of expression. Their knowledge of the language of black music is broad, rich, and diverse. This time, Wax & Boogie will perform at Jamboree with one of the most solid rhythm sections in the country: Little Jordi on double bass and Reginald Vilardell on drums. As if that weren’t enough, they will also feature an exceptional guest: Pablo Sampa from Madrid, a recognized blues guitarist in the Spanish scene.
