MÉLODIE GIMARD Presenta ‘Numen’

French pianist Mélodie Gimard, trained at the ESMUC and linked to the Talle de Músics, has collaborated with artists like Miguel de la Tolea, Carlos Sarduy and Moisés Navarro —besides forming Pescaito Flamenco Quartet, Trío Zuloaga and el grupo eva. She will be presenting her most ambitious show to date. Numen is a cross-discipline project that takes the language of flamenco as a starting point to show the wide creative universe that Gimard has to offer. She recreates all the elements that inspire her, and does so with an original and transgressive point of view that still manages to be respectful of the rich tradition of flamenco. Hers is a creative universe in which a wide array of influences can fit: from El Chozas de Jerez to Manolo Caracol, all the way to Moraíto, Bebo Valdés, Ibrahim Maalouf or Tigran Hasmayan.
