Critics have described the pianist and composer Carlos Bianchini’s work as something to be enjoyed with all the senses. Somewhere between classical, folk and jazz, the Barcelona musician stands out for his original compositions and his quality as an instrumentalist. With the memory of the success of his first album Solo piano Sonata dels infants, at the Jamboree Bianchini, with a trio line-up, will present his latest CD NonSoloPiano on which he explores a new musical language focused on jazz with influences from contemporary and electro-acoustic music. With his work as a performer and composer, Bianchini is committed to dignifying the role of music in society. “Music is sound and energy bringing order to chaos; it is a highly ephemeral art capable of generating a powerful effect bigger than oneself,” he says.
