The trumpeter Fèlix Rossy is not only one of the best jazz musicians of his generation, he is also one of the most prolific. In recent times, we have been able to hear him at the Jamboree in line-ups such as a duo with Marco Mezquida or a quartet with the British saxophonist Alex Hitchcock, a young musician who, like Rossy, has already built up an impressive CV. This time, Fèlix Rossy returns to the Plaça Reial club as a member of the Asere Quartet, a group consisting of young performers from different places, with whom he will present a repertoire of his own and others’ tunes. Asere Quartet is a line-up promising what they describe as “surprises” and “excitement”, as well as “minimalist or conceptual moments”. Come down to the club and enjoy it.
