MaBreeZee is an Angolan-Portuguese beatmaker, singer and rapper based in Barcelona. His approach takes us back to the R&B of the ‘90s and early 2000s, with a style reminiscent of artists like Jamiroquai, Nate Dogg and Anderson Park. MaBreeZee is also the composer of a series of songs in which he releases his deepest emotions and thoughts, mixing them with syncopated rhythms, hypnotic bass lines and delicious Fender Rhodes chords. He draws inspiration from artists like J Dillah, D’Angelo and Erykah Badu. His music offers vintage textures, but with a very modern sound, where hip-hop and neo-soul converge with hints of jazz. Secret Experiments is an instrumental group that explores Afro-American music from the point of view of hip-hop, but without shying away from more experimental sounds. MaBreeZee usually performs with a different MC at each concert, which makes them unique performances, and his Jamboree show will be no exception.
