ALBERT BOVER TRIO - Jamboree Jazz
ALBERT BOVER TRIO

Albert Bover piano, Masa Kamaguchi contrabaix, Andreu Pitarch bateria.

The art of the piano trio is one of the specialties of Albert Bover, who in 1998 made his solo debut with an excellent album recorded as a trio, entitled precisely Live in Jamboree (Mas i Mas Records). Bover brings together the best of the jazz piano tradition with an excellent technique, exquisite taste and a brilliant career and personality as a musician. His skill can be heard on the album we have already mentioned and on others, such as Old Bottle, New Wine (Satchmo, 1999), ESMUC Blues (FSNT, 2001), Live in Bilbao (Moskito, 2012) and with other titles released as a duo with the double bass player Horacio Fumero. A little more than a decade ago, the Barcelona pianist formed a new trio with two jazz references: Masa Kamaguchi and Andreu Pitarch, a group which, as Bover himself notes, “plays jazz for all ages and makes music prepared on the spot – no ready meals or fast food”. Come down the steps of the Jamboree and give yourself over to the delights and the magnetic sound of this high-class trio.
