SCOTT HAMILTON & TONI SOLÀ QUINTET - Jamboree Jazz
SCOTT HAMILTON & TONI SOLÀ QUINTET
SCOTT HAMILTON & TONI SOLÀ QUINTET

Scott Hamilton tenor sax, Toni Solà tenor sax, Gerard Nieto piano, Ignasi González double bass, Xavi Hinojosa drums.

Born in Providence in 1954, the saxophonist Scott Hamilton is like free verse on the international jazz scene. His sound preserves the tradition of the mainstream patented by leading figures like Benny Golson and Roy Eldridge. His records made with the baritone sax legend Gerry Mulligan remain for posterity. He is, in fact, a true living legend of jazz. At the Jamboree, he will also get together again with Toni Solà, one of the best tenor saxophonists on our scene. It is, then, a top-class encounter – a unique opportunity to enjoy the most authentic jazz.
