ROMERO – PAHLEN: COMO2HERMANOS

Hernán Romero guitars, Rodrigo Pahlen piano and harmonica, Antonino Restuccia double bass.

The Argentine Hernán Romero is a virtuoso composer and guitarist who, among other merits, has worked in the service of Paco de Lucía, John McLaughlin and, above all, Al Di Meola, with whom he has collaborated on eleven works. As a soloist he has released albums such as ‘Live at Trinity Churh’ (Sony, 2019), recorded in the homonymous church in New York. His lyrical style is steeped in flamenco and Latin music. For his part, Uruguayan Rodrigo Pahlen, one of the great exponents of the so-called southern jazz, has worked with musicians such as Emilio Solla and Albert Bover. Romero and Pahlen lead a group in which, with delicacy, strength and depth, they make music of their own authorship, landscaped and full of beautiful melodies and suggestive harmonies.
