SUMMARY:Josep Suquet Quartet featuring Adrian Cunningham
DESCRIPTION:Josep Suquet piano and compositions · Adrian Cunningham tenor sax\, flute and clarinet · Adrià Pinto double bass · Rubén Bueno drums \nJosep Suquet Quartet featuring Adrian Cunningham presents an expanded and renewed version of Supervival\, a contemporary jazz project based on original compositions\, a modern language\, and a strong artistic identity. \nThis ensemble recently presented the project at the Costa Brava Jazz Festival to great critical and public acclaim. The repertoire consists of compositions by Josep Suquet and some arrangements by the same author\, with a writing style that prioritizes narrative clarity\, color\, and emotional contour. The melodies act as a guiding thread\, and the harmony moves between lyrical atmospheres and contemporary tensions; the rhythm integrates elements of modern jazz and neo-romanticism with influences from Mediterranean improvised music. \nThe core trio (piano\, double bass\, and drums) forms the foundation of the project\, and the addition of internationally renowned multi-instrumentalist Adrian Cunningham (saxophone\, flute\, and clarinet) decisively expands the group’s timbral and expressive range. Cunningham’s presence adds an additional expressive dimension to the quartet\, with contrasts of register and color that allow seamless transitions from introspective textures to moments of high collective intensity. The constant interaction between piano\, double bass\, drums\, and winds is one of the central pillars of the project\, reflecting a clear intention to build a cohesive group sound. \nSupervival conceptually revolves around the human capacity for adaptation and creative transformation. The invented term refers not only to survival but also to the possibility of turning experience and challenge into artistic fuel. This idea is translated musically into shifting harmonic palettes and a constant balance between structure and spontaneity. \nFor Jamboree\, the project offers an intense and intimate concert\, with live energy\, audience engagement\, and the pleasure of shared improvisation.

SUMMARY:The Gramophone Allstars Big Band - MASiMAS FESTIVAL 2026
DESCRIPTION:Genís Bou tenor saxophone\, flute\, and musical director · Lluc Casares alto saxophone · Pau Vidal tenor saxophone and flute · Pere Miró baritone saxophone · Pep Tarradas trumpet · Oriol Vallès trumpet · Raül Gallego trumpet · Albert Costa trombone · Sidru Palmada trombone · Aleix Bou drums · Xoan Sánchez percussion · Tito Bonacera bass · Adrià Plana guitar · Eloi Escudé piano and keyboards · Kathy Sey vocals · Yolanda Sey vocals \nThe Gramophone Allstars Big Band — Jazzmaica\, Soul\, and Caribbean Rhythm in a Collective Key \nThe Gramophone Allstars Big Band is one of the most solid and recognizable projects on today’s Black music scene. Their approach starts with 1960s Jamaican music (ska\, rocksteady\, and reggae) and expands into soul\, jazz\, and other African American musical languages\, all while crafting a distinctive and carefully honed sonic identity. \nThe group was formed in the spring of 2008 and took a decisive turn when it evolved into a big band with Jazzmaica (2014)\, an acclaimed album that was even released in Japan and solidified their musical personality. Under the direction of saxophonist Genís Bou\, the band combines orchestral precision\, groove\, and a clear festive spirit without losing musical depth. \nWith Maraca Soul (2017)\, they broadened their rhythmic palette by incorporating Caribbean sounds such as boogaloo and calypso. In the following years\, they released several shorter works that reinforced their versatility: The Reel Influence\, the single Let’s Get It On (a reinterpretation of Marvin Gaye)\, and the EP Love Letter (2021)\, always with meticulous attention to arrangements and collective pulse. \nAfter more than 150 concerts as a big band\, they returned in 2023 with Call Your Friends\, a work that reaffirmed the project’s maturity and its ability to update musical traditions with a contemporary\, danceable\, and elegant perspective. \nWhy shouldn’t you miss them?Because The Gramophone Allstars Big Band turns tradition into celebration: a powerful big band\, full of groove and nuance\, uniting dance\, sophistication\, and community spirit in every performance.

SUMMARY:Hereus del Beat + Declivi + Sr. À & MALAKA
DESCRIPTION:Hereus del Beat\nHereus del Beat is a group from Terrassa (Barcelona)\, formed by Pau Casanovas\, Xavier Carnicé\, Xavier Soler\, and Martí Galán\, also known as Fresko\, Vaxx\, Eluss\, and Galgo Lento. \nThey are a versatile\, genre-fluid group rooted in 90s and 2000s hip-hop and rap. Their music stands out for its honest lyrics\, drawn from personal experience and marked by a strong critical perspective. \nIn 2020 they released their debut album 53 Baixos\, followed by live performances across local festivals. In 2021 they were finalists in the Engrescat competition. Between 2023 and 2024 they released their second project La Nostra Merda\, alongside new shows and media appearances. \nAt the end of 2024 they closed the year with concerts in Terrassa and Barcelona\, and are currently preparing a new project for 2026 with several collaborations. In 2025\, they were nominated for two Enderrock Awards. \nDeclivi\nDeclivi is one of the most promising new bands in the emerging Catalan rock scene. Formed in Manresa in early 2023\, the group has quickly built a distinctive identity marked by emotional intensity\, sharp guitars\, and a direct\, generational approach to music. \nTheir sound combines the raw energy of rock with a strong melodic sensitivity\, constantly moving between rage\, fragility\, and collective explosion. Their songs\, performed entirely in Catalan\, speak about contradictions\, fears\, relationships\, frustration\, celebration\, and the need to change things\, connecting with a whole generation searching for honest spaces in which to recognize themselves. \nTheir live performances have rapidly become one of the band’s greatest strengths: intense\, visceral\, and without artifice. Since their debut in June 2023\, Declivi has steadily grown project concert after concert\, building a powerful connection with audiences. Along the way\, they have received support from Casa de la Música de Manresa\, which awarded them a recording grant\, and in 2024 they won the Engresca’t competition. \nThey now present Guerra Endins\, their first release with Guspira Records\, an album that bursts powerfully onto the Catalan scene and works both as a statement of intent and a calling card. Across nine songs\, Declivi explores identity\, memory\, emotional conflict\, and personal reconstruction\, oscillating between protest and vulnerability with a forceful and character-filled sound. \nSr. À & MALAKA\nSr. À & MALAKA is a self-managed artistic collective founded in Barcelona in 2017 with the aim of contributing to countercultural discourse and social\, political\, and internal critique through music. \nInspired by the sounds and values of early-1990s alternative hip-hop culture\, Sr. À & MALAKA has become a rap-with-band project that seeks to fuse styles as diverse as Funk\, Soul\, Rock\, Nu-Metal\, Acid Jazz\, Reggae\, and Balkan music\, while reclaiming the Catalan language as its main tool for raising awareness through lyrics with a strong socio-political\, introspective\, and personal background. \nThey have an extensive live trajectory\, having performed at events such as the Festa Major dels Castellers de Sants\, the Festes Alternatives de Gràcia\, the Barraques del Clot\, the Barraques d’Horta i Guinardó\, Foc i Rock (Les Corts)\, the Campament Pirata de Premià de Mar\, the Festa Major de Calella\, and the 10th Anniversary of the C.S.O. Prapopoulos in Athens\, Greece. \nWith their previous formation\, The Botswanas\, they also performed at the local festivals of Torres de Segre\, Gelida\, Rialp\, Corbera de Llobregat\, Matadepera\, Begues\, the Festa de la Realitat (Communist Youth)\, as well as various university festivals.

SUMMARY:Altertango
DESCRIPTION:Franco Niella drums · Fede Salgado double bass · Ezequiel Acosta bandoneon · Elbi Olalla piano \nGuests: Alejandro Guyot · Magalí Sare · Josefina Rozenwasser Marín \nAltertango presents their eighth studio album: La saga dels marges \nThe group Altertango presents its eighth studio album\, La saga dels marges\, recorded at Sol de Sants studios during two intense sessions in mid-February 2026. \nThe album brings together 12 compositions organized into three chapters that reflect the group’s artistic identity and its dialogue with the present. \nThe first chapter\, the ADN Suite\, consists of four pieces created in collaboration with renowned musicians and key figures of contemporary tango such as Julio Coviello and Pablo Gignoli (bandoneons)\, Edgardo González (guitar and artistic production support)\, and singer Alejandro Guyot. \nThe suite develops the idea that the identity of 21st-century tango is nourished above all by the very musicians and music that shape this generation. The instrumental triptych “Adenina\,” “Guanina\,” and “Timina\,” together with the vocal piece “No hay margen para la fe\,” explore endings and new beginnings within a dystopian context\, capturing the group’s creative zeitgeist. \nThe second chapter is dedicated to Catalonia\, where the members of the group currently live. It includes works inspired by Catalan language and culture such as Milonga de la ginesta\, performed by Magalí Sare\, the instrumental pieces “Somni” and “Xiuxiuejar\,” and “Passió estranya\,” inspired by a book by Marina Garcés and performed by Josefina Rozenwasser Marín. \nThe third chapter gathers compositions by the different members of the group: Franco Niella with Olalla on “Claustrofòbia\,” Ezequiel Acosta with Olalla on “Granís\,” Josefina Rozenwasser Marín on “Los que volvieron de la sombra\,” and another composition by Ezequiel Acosta\, “Línia roja.” As a bonus track\, the album includes a work by Diego Vainer\, a leading figure in Argentine experimental electronics and a close collaborator of the group since its beginnings. \nThe album was recorded\, mixed\, and mastered by Raúl Cuevas. Artwork by Borja Lo\, photographs by Magui Pichinini\, and video by Lula Breton. \nLa saga dels marges confirms Altertango as one of the strongest and most contemporary proposals in today’s tango scene\, capable of weaving together tradition\, experimentation\, and territory.

SUMMARY:Rai Castells Quintet
DESCRIPTION:Rai Castells guitar · Diego Hervalejo piano · Pablo Martin saxophone · Jordi Gaspar double bass · Jordi Gardeñas drums \nShifting is the quintet’s current project and the title of their new album. It is a contemporary jazz proposal based on original compositions\, where interaction and the constant evolution of the musical material are central elements. \nAfter a debut warmly received by critics\, the group presents a more defined and personal sound\, with bebop influences but a clearly contemporary perspective. The project is built around the dialogue between tenor saxophone and guitar\, supported by the harmonic foundation of the piano and a solid yet flexible rhythm section that drives the music with freedom. \nLive\, Shifting is presented as a vibrant and open concert experience\, where the compositions evolve and transform without losing the essence of the project.

SUMMARY:Flaira Ferro
DESCRIPTION:The Pernambuco-born singer\, songwriter\, and dancer Flaira Ferro has established herself as one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary Brazilian music. Her artistic approach combines a powerful stage presence with a sonic exploration that moves through genres such as frevo\, rock\, electronic music\, and various expressions of northeastern Brazilian popular culture. \nHer fourth album\, Afeto Radical\, represents a new stage in her artistic journey. The album features 11 original songs that reflect on the acceleration of contemporary life and the tensions of today’s world. \nBeyond music\, Flaira Ferro’s creative universe expands into performance. Her work integrates dance\, theatre\, and poetry into an immersive experience that reinforces the expressive and emotional character of her art. \nAfeto Radical is a sensory journey that oscillates between the intimate and the expansive\, the contemplative and the provocative. In this work\, the artist proposes affection as a tool for transformation and as a way to rethink relationships and contemporary experience. \nStanding concert.

SUMMARY:Roy Borland
DESCRIPTION:Singer\, composer\, and producer with roots in jazz and folk. Born into a family of musicians in Madrid\, Roy studied eight years of classical conservatory and in 2021 began unveiling his Spanish-language project with a style connected to everyday life\, special moments of the day\, the pleasures of routine\, and its apparent insignificance. \nBorland is not someone who hesitates when asked about his influences. Without pause\, as if completely certain\, he cites Molly Drake\, Pablo Milanés\, Joan Manuel Serrat\, Manuel Alejandro\, Juan Carlos Calderón\, Arthur Russell\, Linda Perhacs\, Gilbert O’Sullivan\, Antônio Carlos Jobim\, Natalia Lafourcade\, Ry Cooder\, Laraaji\, and Adrianne Lenker. \nHe has produced for some of the most prominent figures of his generation\, such as El Kanka\, Teo Lucadamo\, Cráneo\, Bejo\, Teo Planell\, Lola Indigo\, Belén Aguilera\, Tristán!\, Azuleja\, Nusar3000\, and Barry B. His most recent works include the LP Fotografías de España\, the EP Un Tiempo en Casa Solo\, and the LP Considérame. He is currently preparing a new album\, La Chica del Norte\, with a full band\, set for release in 2026. \nWithout a doubt\, an artist destined to take his place among the greats — an astonishing musician with an overflowing personality\, ready to move listeners deeply with his songs and his incredible voice. \nStanding concert.
