SUMMARY:Los buenos valedores
DESCRIPTION:Kevin Sabariego vocals and electric guitar · Carlos Oliva vocals and flamenco guitar · Héctor Martín electric guitar · Marc Trías percussion \nFlamenco guitar meets Latin guitar and also welcomes American guitar to renew the concept of the romantic song trio\, a beloved formation from the mid-20th century. \nThe band embraces an intimate\, small-format approach\, celebrating beautiful melodies and defending the guitar as a musical companion. Their repertoire revisits genres that have given voice to stories of love and heartbreak over the decades: bolero\, rumba\, cha-cha-cha\, swing\, rancheras and cuplés\, brought to present-day Barcelona with a direct and honest style. \nIn 2023 they released their first LP\, Alma Podrida\, warmly received by critics and featured on Radio 3 (RNE)\, launching a tour across the local and national circuit and filling intimate venues. \nIn 2025 they present their second project\, Apuntes para una luna de miel\, a 10’’ vinyl EP presented in Mexico.

SUMMARY:Amaury Faye Nola 4tet feat Herlin Riley
DESCRIPTION:Amaury Faye piano · Alexandre Galinié tenor sax · Edouard Pennes double bass · Guillaume Prevost drums \nPiano prodigy and one of the most distinctive voices in French jazz\, Amaury Faye returns with a spectacular line-up: jazz legend Herlin Riley on drums\, rising tenor sax star Julian Lee\, and one of the brightest new talents in American jazz\, bassist Amina Scott. \nRUST is wild dances under the rusted bridges of Tremé\, freight trains rumbling along the Mississippi\, sirens wailing through the 9th Ward\, rice and beans cooked on a neighbor’s porch\, and eccentric youth roaming downtown and vacant lots in surreal costumes. \n“The album of the year\, straight from the heart of New Orleans: a masterful collision between the burning\, organic rhythms of the city and Amaury Faye’s cinematic universe.”

SUMMARY:TONIQUE & MAN
DESCRIPTION:TONIQUE & MAN — WHERE WE’RE AT \nSince 2022\, Jean Tonique and Mi Man have been creating\, under the name Tonique & Man\, a groovy and luminous pop sound that blends analog synths\, polished vocal harmonies\, and warm arrangements. The duo has made a name for itself through a precise balance: immediate melodies that never need to force their way to the forefront. \nFollowing Opening Soon\, their debut album released in 2023 and built around a very distinct pop sound\, Tonique & Man return with Where We’re At\, their second album\, recorded in part at Studio Ferber in Paris. The groove and the sense of songwriting remain intact\, but the perspective shifts: the album refocuses on the essentials—two musicians and more authentic songs—with a desire to present a more nuanced take on pop. \nThe production gains warmth and depth\, with airier arrangements and vocals brought more to the forefront. The album retains the duo’s DNA—that blend of soft disco\, modern pop\, and French elegance—while taking it toward something more mature and self-assured. \nThis maturity is evident in both the songwriting and the performance. The tracks retain their impact and lightness\, yet reveal more intimate moments\, as if the duo were willing to let something more personal shine through. Without becoming introspective in the strict sense\, Where We’re At reflects a different phase in the lives of Jean Tonique and Mi Man—one marked by greater perspective\, more nuance\, and a more serene approach. \nStanding concert.

SUMMARY:Shalosh
DESCRIPTION:Gadi Stern piano · David Michaeli bass · Matan Assayag drums \nSHALOSH is an instrumental piano trio belonging to a new generation of jazz groups that transcend genres\, connecting with both jazz audiences and listeners from a wide range of musical backgrounds. \nOver more than eleven years together\, the three childhood friends who make up SHALOSH have refused to be confined by stylistic labels. Their music is raw\, honest and constantly evolving\, crossing musical boundaries and reinventing itself at every turn. They have performed hundreds of concerts on some of the world’s most prestigious stages\, establishing themselves as one of the leading young piano trios on the international scene. \nWhile maintaining the classic jazz trio format—piano\, bass and drums—and drawing on deep roots in jazz and improvisation\, SHALOSH has developed its own distinctive musical language\, blending influences from rock\, classical music\, electronic music\, and African and Middle Eastern traditions. \nTo date\, the trio has released six albums: five studio recordings and one live album. Their most recent releases have appeared on the prestigious German label ACT\, with which they have become one of Europe’s most active jazz trios. Their seventh album will also be released on ACT. \nThe band’s story began in Jerusalem\, where childhood friends Matan Assayag (drums) and Gadi Stern (piano) formed the group Enoma Elish. After the band disbanded\, they continued working together between Israel and New York\, where Gadi Stern lived for nearly a decade\, immersing himself in the city’s vibrant jazz scene. In 2014 they founded SHALOSH\, and two years later bassist David Michaeli\, then considered one of Israel’s most promising young jazz musicians\, joined the group. \nSince the release of their debut album\, The Bell Garden (2014)\, SHALOSH has attracted widespread international attention\, touring extensively throughout Europe\, Japan\, Korea and beyond. Their second album\, Rules of Oppression (2017)\, received critical acclaim across Europe and was described as “a masterpiece” by leading Japanese jazz broadcasters. \nFollowing a live recording with Bauer Studios\, the trio signed with ACT and released Onwards and Upwards (2019). The album received glowing reviews from publications including The Times\, The Guardian\, Rolling Stone and DownBeat\, while also amassing millions of streams on Spotify. \nThe following years saw the band continue to broaden its artistic horizons through projects such as SHALOSH plus One\, featuring collaborations with pop\, hip-hop and jazz artists\, as well as albums including Broken Balance (2020) and Tales of Utopia (2023)\, a concept album inspired by ancient myths and legends. \nAlthough the pandemic temporarily halted their international touring\, the trio used that time to refine its sound and create new music. Since 2022\, SHALOSH has returned to an intensive touring schedule\, performing in renowned concert halls and alongside symphony orchestras. \nFollowing the outbreak of the Gaza war in 2023\, SHALOSH publicly expressed its commitment to a humanistic\, anti-war vision advocating peace and equality for both Israelis and Palestinians—a message the trio continues to share during its performances. \nTheir latest album\, What We Are Made Of (ACT\, 2026)\, is a deep exploration of the trio’s musical DNA. Combining original compositions with bold reinterpretations\, the record moves effortlessly between groove\, lyrical sensitivity and explosive energy. For SHALOSH\, jazz is less a genre than an attitude: open\, physical and constantly in motion. \nThe trio remains committed to creating music that is both sophisticated and accessible\, reaching a broad audience without compromising artistic ambition. One of SHALOSH‘s defining characteristics is its collective approach: all creative decisions are shared equally among the three members\, fostering an ego-free artistic evolution. Their music is born from emotion\, mutual trust and a friendship that has remained as strong as ever after more than a decade together.
