The compositions explore contemporary jazz grooves\, alternating with pieces inspired by Brazilian folklore and flamenco traditions. \nWith the acclaimed BvR Flamenco Big Band\, van Rossum has also earned critical recognition\, releasing three albums and collaborating with artists such as Carles Benavent\, Antonio Serrano\, and Rafael de Utrera\, as well as performing at festivals including Jazz San Javier\, FIJAZZ\, Eurojazz Mexico\, Flamenco Biennale\, and the North Sea Jazz Festival.
