Continuing with the events to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Fresh Sound New Talent label, an ad-hoc line-up of a dozen new talents from the British scene will perform at the Jamboree. Common Theadsbegan when Jordi Pujol Baulenas, alma mater of FSNT, asked the composer and conductor Alex Merritt to create a double anniversary album for the Barcelona label. All members of the line-up led by Merritt have tremendous jazz spirit and have been involved in composing the pieces they play, in which the imagination, originality and artistic quality of the ensemble, including the orchestration, achieve an amazing result.
