Paraphrasing the name of the famous combo promoted by the guitarist Ry Cooder, Otra Vista Social Club brings together a group of Barcelona musicians forged in Latin rhythms. The aim of bringing them together is to offer us an approach they define as a “flexible format”. Otra Vista Social Club is a project upholding Afro-Cubanness in all respects, blending Caribbean rhythms with soul, jazz and funk to create a contemporary sound.
