The second day of the Django L’Hospitalet Festival at the Jamboree presents Adrien Moignard and Diego Imbert, living history of Manouche jazz. Guitarist Moignard is one of the great representatives of the Parisian scene, with his own sound and a unique and original way of understanding the manouche. As for the double bassist Imbert, he is one of the pillars of the great revolution of Birelli Lagrène’s Gipsy Project. Together they have recorded their first album as a duo. ‘Django’s Songs’ (Label Ouest, 2023) represents an unprecedented encounter in the field of Django Reinhardt’s music. It can be enjoyed for the first time in our country within the framework of Django LH. It is a project designed for everyone to enjoy; a high-profile meeting based on virtuosity and complicity.
