Anders Bergcrantz trumpet, Abe Rábade piano, Dave Redmond doublebass and, Gonzalo del Val drums.
The Swede Anders Bergcrantz is considered one of the best exponents of the jazz trumpet. Throughout his artistic career he has worked with figures such as Dave Liebman, McCoy Tyner, Michael Brecker, Victor Lewis, Billy Hart, Richie Beirach, Monica Zetterlund, Adam Naussbaum and the Stockholm Symphony Orchestra. At the Jamboree we have heard him on several occasions, among others as a special guest of the supergroup Sylwester Ostrowski Unit. Bergcrantz stands out for his impeccable speech as a soloist and melodist, comparable to that of the greats of the piston instrument: Woody Herman, Freddie Hubbard, Lee Morgan and Miles Davis. However, the Scandinavian musician treasures his own voice, which has opened the doors to the most relevant jazz stages.
