The doyen of Catalan radio jazz programmes, “L’Home del Jazz” (Ràdio 4), is taking part in celebrating 60 years of the Jamboree, marking the anniversary by promoting a series of very special concerts. The first of them, coinciding with the exact date of the anniversary, features Andrea Motis and Ignasi Terraza, two of the leading Catalan jazz musicians who are among the highest profile international figures we have. Motis and Terraza will perform for the first time as a duo at the Plaça Reial basement club. The two of them have been working together in Motis and Chamorro line-ups for more than ten years, and this is shown by the level of close cooperation they demonstrate on stage. This will be a top-class intimate concert with a box full of surprises and the ingredients required to make a historic night – an ideal evening for a fitting celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Jamboree.
