Among the musicians who have left an indelible mark on the history of jazz, John Coltrane (1926-1967) stands as one of the most celebrated figures. The release of his album A Love Supreme (1965) represents not only a pinnacle of his career but also a cornerstone of the jazz genre. This year marks the 60th anniversary of its release, and to celebrate this milestone, Swedish drummer Anton Jarl, based in Barcelona and an admirer of Coltrane’s sound, has assembled a quartet to bring his masterpiece to life once again.
