Arthur Kell - Brad Shepik - Radley - Jamboree Jazz
Arthur Kell – Brad Shepik – Radley

Brad Shepik guitar, Nate Radley guitar, Arthur Kell doublebass and, Allan Mednard drums.

Double bassist and composer Arthur Kell is one of the most sought-after musicians on the contemporary jazz scene in New York. Not in vain, he has been on familiar terms with figures such as Thomas Chapin, Bobbie Previte, Marc Ribot, Billy Band, Bill McHenry, Guillermo Klein, Bruce Barth, Matt Wilson and Allison Miller. Solo, he has launched different projects, with Steve Cardenas, Ben Monder, Gerald Cleaver, Donny McCaslin, Chris Cheek, Gorka Benitez and others. Kell began his career in the mid-90s, in complicity with the Brooklyn alternative scene, a veritable incubator of groundbreaking, contemporary proposals with his own stamp. At the Jamboree he will perform with an exceptional quartet, along with Brad Shepik, one of the most original and sublime voices on the New York scene, like Kell himself. Shepik has created a school in bands such as The Tiny Bell, by Dave Douglas, or in the service of Paul Motian, Charlie Haden and Joe Baron. The group is also completed by guitarist Nat Radley, linked to Chris Cheek, Adam Nussbaum and the Maria Schneider orchestra, and drummer Allan Mednar, collaborator of Kurt Rosenwinkel and Aaron Parks, among others. The best of contemporary jazz comes to the cellar in Plaza Reial.
