Promoted and led by Ivan Kovacevic, the Barcelona Big Blues Band has become one of the most powerful and most in-demand line-ups on this country’s swing, jazz and r ‘n’ b circuit. Their energetic, wild, but at the same time sophisticated sound makes them a unique, irresistible group. It could be said that they follow the tradition of the great bands that backed T-Bone Walker or Johnny Otis, but they go beyond this, regularly incorporating top-class soloists: Ray Gelato, Mike Sanchez, Drew Davies, Dani Nel·lo and Lluís Coloma.
