The Barcelona Big Blues Band (BBBB) has the habit of accompanying great rhythm ‘n’ blues, blues and rock ‘n’ roll saxophonists, such as Spencer Evoy, a musician who seduced the Barcelona audience at the head of the iconic group MFC Chicken. Evoy has managed to adapt the sound of the tenor saxophone to rock ‘n’ roll and garage music, with a very personal style. Spencer Evoy’s explosive approach draws directly from the Pacific Northwest sound, with an original recipe of Frat-Surf-Garage-RnR. In his shows, he sets out a repertoire of his own songs seasoned with an irrepressible stage energy. It is the same one used by the BBBB, whose sound is already a symbol of the historic basement club in the Plaça Reial.
