The Barcelona Big Blues Band (BBBB) is back at the Jamboree. Led by Ivan Kovacevic, it has become one of the most powerful orchestras on the in the country on the swing, jazz, blues and r ‘n’ b circuit. The BBBB used to be a classic for Sunday afternoons at the Jamboree, but now they are performing in the Plaça Reial basement club on the first Saturday of every month. The day of the week may have changed but not their custom of having an amazing guest artist. This time they are bringing Jonathan Herrero, from Vitoria, singing from one of the best-established r ‘n’ b bands in the country: A Contra Blues. With this legendary band, Herrero has travelled all over Europe and has won awards such as the European Blues Challenge, one of the most prestigious anywhere on the continent. The unique personality of Jonathan Herrero and the repertoire of BBBB make this session a unique show, full of energy and vocal virtuosity that’s bound to make an impression on everyone.
