Jamboree presents Blue Station, a line-up co-led by saxophonist Jordi Blanch and guitarist Leo Hipaucha, two musicians with an extensive professional career. Not surprisingly, they have participated in major festivals and collaborated with a range of international artists. The connection between Blanch and Hipaucha, and their admiration for the Blue Note sound, has led them to form this project inspired by the jazz and blues of the 50s and 60s. Their live show pays tribute to Kenny Burrell, Lou Donaldson and Jimmy Smith, musicians who undoubtedly revolutionized the music of their time with that particular style that unites blues and jazz.
