Black Flower brings together three of the best exponents of creative music in our country: Yexza Lara, Pablo Selnik and Clara Lai. Under the label of “avant-pop” they lead an avantgarde pop approach with experimental music inspired by the “cosmic terror” of H.P. Lovecraft’s stories and the literature of Guy de Maupassant and Horacio Quiroga, among others. Theirs is a penetrating narrative journey, based on the sensations conveyed by the work of these writers: strange melodies, improvisations, acoustic sound effects, enigmatic voices, light and darkness, in a sublime exercise of expression and sound experimentation. Black Flower is undoubtedly one of the most evocative line-ups on the alternative circuit. They have performed at festivals such as Periferias (Huesca), Canarias Jazz, Zarata Fest (Bilbao) and LEM (Barcelona), where they successfully premiered the songs from Kala of the Unspoken, which has finally arrived at the cellar in the Plaça Reial.
