Brigitte Emaga, a talented singer and songwriter from Barcelona, demonstrated her passion for music from a very early age, absorbing a wide range of styles: soul, funky, r&b and African music, among others. Her influences range from Fela Kuti to Aretha Franklin, including Nina Simone, Erykah Badu, Lauryn Hill and Etta James. Her career took off as a member of the iconic group The Supremes. Throughout her career, she has made her mark in various notable projects, including notable performances in the musicals ‘Hair’ and ‘Dirty Dancing’. In addition, she reached the semifinals of The Voice (Season 5), played the role of Sade in the film ‘Palm trees in the snow’ and participated in proposals such as Monica Green & Project Soul, Music has no limits and ‘I’ m a Soul Woman’. Currently, Brigitte Emaga is immersed in two exciting projects: ‘Scarlets & The Femme Soul Band’ and ‘Brigitte Emaga & The Essence’. On this occasion, she will present a unique show, full of soul and funk, together with the musicians of the Clarence Bekker Band; a session designed especially for the Jamboree.
