The Playground

From the bowels of Jamboree Jam and BCN People is born the new Jamboree proposal for Wednesday afternoons in Room 3: The Playground, a space where collectives of musicians and artists from Barcelona organize a long session of live music with different groups, guest artists, stars from here and there, DJs and where there is also space for recreation and play in this fundamental part of the session that we call the playground.

Every Wednesday, from 7 to 11 at night, a collective of different musicians organizes their own Playground. Talk to them if you want to play it too.

Jofre Fité piano, Sebastian Norén electric guitar, Ana Ayala transverse flute, Cala Quintero electric bass and vocals, Estefanía Chamorro drums, Amaia Hermoso alto sax, Amanda Traveria piano, Marius Koopman drums and, Frederica Silva vocals and transverse flute.

This collective emerged from the emerging jazz scene in Barcelona, ​​and is made up of three groups: Jofre Fité, a pianist who will open the show with an experimental solo piano project, followed by the Cala Quintero Quartet, a contemporary modern jazz band where they will listen to original compositions and finally, The Sixters, a band made up of 6 musicians where the fusion between afro, groove, jazz and the most danceable energy stands out.

All this great family will join with special guests in the Jamboree 3 Playground Sessions, the field of improvisation and pure play!
