He has become a recognised and sought-after musician not only on the jazz scene, but also in flamenco, Cuban popular music, and modern music. Praised for his sound, great musicality, and incredible musical versatility.

He has collaborated with great artists such as Chucho Valdés, Bebo Valdés, Steve Coleman, David Murray, Esperanza Spalding, Buika, Ainhoa Arteta, Mariza i Ojos de Brujo among many others.
