A singer, songwriter, and pianist from Catalonia, Spain, whose voice has led her to collaborate with renowned artists spanning from jazz to folk music, including Mariona Escoda, Las Migas, Andrés Barrios, Guillem Roma, Alejandro y Maria Laura, among others. This positions her as one of the most promising voices in the Iberian Peninsula.
Carolina Alabau released her debut album “Primera Mirada” in 2020, performing at the Sant Andreu Jazz Festival (Jazzing), the Barcelona Jazz Festival, and touring across Spain.
In 2023, she released her second solo studio album, “Una Frase Imaginada,” produced by multi-award-winning Latin Grammy producer Javier Limón. The album earned a nomination for Best Folk Album at the MIN Awards in Zaragoza, Spain. At the same time, Carolina performed in Andorra, France, Spain, and Mexico.
With this journey, Carolina Alabau now presents a 3-track EP titled “Los Dioses No Rompen Corazones.” This EP is inspired by traditional copla music, approached with a modern and mature production that reflects the artist’s evolving sound.
