As the language of jazz offers a unique ground to blend different elements together – bass player, composer and arranger Giuseppe Campisi couldn’t resist the idea of re-imagining the sounds of the beautiful Mediterranean island of Sicily – his homeland.  This process resulted in an eclectic, exciting, mesmerizing project – blending elements of improvised music, folk and rock – which will lead the listeners to this mystical place, “between the great Western culture and the temptations of the desert and the sun, between reason and magic, between feeling and the heatwaves of passion”.
