Daniel Ferruz Quartet presenta ‘Miradas’

Following the launch of ‘Noctis’ (Fresh Sound, 2019), the quartet led by the Zaragoza pianist Daniel Ferruz have consolidated their initial impact with a second studio album, ‘Miradas’ (Underpool, 2022). The repertoire on this CD includes the different musical attitudes of the Aragonese composer. It evocatively suggests energy, emotions and good times, with interaction as the main ingredient. The band’s sound is sensitive, tender and expressive, with plenty of subtlety and sincerity in their collective improvisation.
