David Giorcelli is one of the greatest exponents of piano blues and boogie-woogie in our country. His skill and dynamism have taken him to European countries like Italy, Greece, Portugal, Switzerland, Poland, Holland, Cyprus and France, where he is a regular at the historic Paris club Le Caveau de la Huchette. In France he has also twice – in 2010 and 2015 – taken part in the Laroquebrou festival, considered the most important in the world for piano boogie. Of course, Giorcelli has performed at the most important blues and jazz festivals in Spain – Hondarribia, Terrassa, Cazorla, Cerdanyola, Benicàssim, Cáceres, Marbella, Leganés, Gran Canaria, Santiago de Compostela, etc. – and also as Spanish blues representative at the 2016 European Blues Challenge. At the Jamboree he will present the fifth album of his solo career, ‘Swing at Caveau’, recorded live in Paris, at Le Caveau de la Huchette, with British saxophonist Drew Davis as special guest. He will also be present at the Plaça Reial basement club.
