David Torrens – Cuban Rockasón Live

David Torrens (Guanabacoa, November 8, 1966) is a Cuban singer-songwriter, musician, and composer, part of the third generation of Cuba’s nueva trova movement. His music blends Cuban tradition with Argentine rock and Brazilian sounds, creating a distinctive style he calls “Rockasón.”

His recording career began in 1997 with Mi Poquita Fe, followed by acclaimed albums such as Ni de Aquí Ni de Allá (1999), Anatomía de La Habana (2004), Razones (2008), and Todo (2012). Torrens’ work is celebrated for its artistic quality, diverse influences, and collaborations with renowned Cuban and international musicians.
