Daughter of a Senegalese father (a singer and composer) and an Italian mother, Desiree Diouf is a young vocalist with a voice rich in subtle shades and a powerful live performance who has spent almost ten years in Barcelona drawing on the city’s rich musical scene. She has been lead singer with the Black Barbies and the Sugar Drops, collecting experience in many fields, from soul, jazz and funk to reggae and swing.
