Enric Fuster Quintet was born in 2024 thanks to a proposal from the festival “A Jazz de Mar,” which gives carte blanche to a local musician from Mallorca to record an unreleased live album during the festival, with Enric chosen for this edition. Seizing this opportunity, the drummer and composer shaped a project that fuses contemporary jazz with traditional Mallorcan music and various folk influences from around the world.
Each composition is a window into the music that has accompanied Enric throughout his career, creating a personal sound universe full of freedom and emotion. With a lineup that balances the risk of improvisation and the structure of traditional forms, the group offers an authentic musical proposal, where each musician brings their unique voice to build a collective discourse.
