GANZÁ is a set of Brazilian music, which, as its name implies, “marks or understands the samba”. He does so from a fresh perspective, with his own style arising from the fusion of different rhythms of Afro-Brazilian culture with jazz and soul brushstrokes. It offers a broad repertoire of own themes and versions by browsing different styles; wheel samba, bayonet, forró, ijexá, chula and bossa nova, among others.

GANZÁ was born in Barcelona in the middle of 2017, and emerged from the union of previous formation of guitarist Marcel Vallès and the singer and composer Baiana Mirla Riomar (who began their joint career in Salvador de Bahia in 2015) with percussionist Jonas Santana and bass player Rocco Papia.
