HAMMOND NIGHT feat. TITO BONACERA - Jamboree Jazz

Titled “Hammond Nights”, this new Jamboree cycle will be coordinated by Shu Shu’s, one of the most relevant bands performing African American music in the country at the moment. Formed by three great instrumentalists — Abel Boquera (organ keyboard), Dave Wilkinson (guitar) and Caspar St. Charles (drums)— Shu Shu’s will offer a series of monographic concerts featuring special guests, looking to transform each night into an all-out tribute session to some of the music genres linked to the Hammond keyboard, an instrument invented by American Laurens Hammond in the 1930s (soul, funk, jazz and groove, among others).

The special guest this evening will be the well travelled bass player Tito Bonancera, a solid musician with an extensive background in bands such as Tonia & The Secret Investement, Jaleo Real, Brian Jackson, las hermanas Neddermann and the Steel Quartet of Raynald Colom.
